A Spiritual Response to Life

We do not have to be perfect human beings in order to give usable advice to someone who may need it. Although it is in our best interest to practice what we preach, sometimes we have the insight and ability to see further down the road from where we stand and are able to give others directions to “places” we have never been. It does not necessarily make us a hypocrite to give others advice that we do not follow (assuming the advice is wholesome and good) but it does shine a light on our credibility and intentions. The greatest advice that one can give can only be explained by action and in-action. We teach others a great truth when we react in love and refuse to act in aggression or violence. We become living examples of higher education and divine truth that attracts spiritual health and prosperity when we overcome our unhealthy and reactive behaviour. There is a super-reality (or an eternal awareness) that does not “descend” upon us until we resolve the infinite and undying cycles of the mind. We do not yet see that we are prisoners of the internal activity that is on-going and forever. It is not until the activity stops that we are free and able to look upon reality with certainty and clarity. It is not until our mind is quiet and clear that we can create and respond with eternal power and wisdom, and shine our light upon the hearts and minds of those who witness or experience our presence. How we visibly respond to life will always say more than the words that we say or write. If we aim to make an intellectual point then a lot must be addressed but if we aim to make a spiritual one then a lot must be accomplished.
