Sunday is a very special day of the week regardless of our religion or way of life. It is a day where nature sings her songs of harmony and rest and anyone who tunes in can hear it and feel it. Sunday is almost like Christmas Day where there is a sense of connectedness and celebration in the air. Even though the days of the week are man-made so-to-speak, they are divinely inspired by the creative cycles of our cosmic systems. We may not be aware of this since we live in a very loud and busy world but all of natures creations celebrate Sunday by resonating with its cosmic vibration and by moving to the rhythm of rejuvenation and peace. Although this fact is far more obvious in a natural setting (like in a forest or a field) it manages to appear or manifest itself in the unconscious desire of people to worship, pray, meditate, clean, sleep, read, fast, enjoy family, and partake in pleasurable things. If we understand and acknowledge that Sunday has a unique property and that this heavenly or cosmic energy permeates the atmosphere or field, then we can learn to harness and direct this energy and put it toward our spiritual mission. In a joint effort by God, Creation, Spirit, and Man; Sunday was designed and implemented to not only protect us from the involuntary demands of life but to also provide us with a day to heal and to grow during our difficult and lengthy journey toward holiness, perfection, ascension, and peace.
