The Fruits of Anger

Anger is not always wrong, evil, or bad. It is a quality of God just like every other emotion is. It often rises from a deep place of passion, protection and love in the same way that God's wrath does. It is a misunderstanding to imagine or believe that all of God's chosen ones are soft, gentle, or pleasing to others. Anger can be used for good like almost anything else if it arises from a place of compassion. We do not always have to feel guilty or apologetic for reacting in anger if we are using the energy or life force to raise aware-ness and to do good. Even our spiritually enlightened ancestors displayed forms of rage and enforced individual and mass discipline in alignment with Divine Law at crucial times in history. Being kind and calm is no doubt a trait of those who have acquired spiritual wisdom or intelligence but being angry does not automatically suggest ignorance and immaturity. We can master anger by understanding its origin and learning to use it safely and appropriately. Being soft and gentle does not always mean spiritually safe and sound, and being angry or violent does not always mean “stupid” and non-spiritual. It takes bravery, courage, conviction, and a certain level of mental and physical strength to safely overcome and endure evil and dark places. It is natural to become angry and assertive as a warrior or victim of the ancient and ongoing war between the Light and the Dark, but we share this attribute with God in service to ourselves.
